Four dense shallow refuges for fry and forage fish
This package includes four completed Briar Bush habitat units for building a broader protected nursery area near shorelines, docks, spawning beds and other shallow freshwater zones. Flexible reclaimed PVC strips can be bent in different directions so every unit forms a varied cluster of tight openings.
Four-pack specifications
- Four completed habitat units
- Approximately 8–9 pounds per unit
- 8-inch cement-filled base per unit
- More than 25 square feet of surface area per unit
- Flexible strands shape by hand
- No added anchor or ballast needed
Place as one connected nursery complex
Position the four units close enough for neighboring branches to overlap or nearly touch. The dense, deliberately snaggy material is intended to keep predators and fishing lures out while giving small fish access to shelter and food-growing surface area. No two units look exactly alike because reclaimed cuts vary in color, width and texture.
Price includes free shipping. Required sales tax is charged only to Illinois residents.
